Product Liability, Personal Injury & Civil Litigation Attorney Serving West Virginia

Trusted Legal Representation for Clients Throughout West Virginia

An injury you didn’t see coming, or a legal dispute that’s suddenly taken over your life, can leave you feeling like the ground shifted beneath you. What you need is an attorney who will genuinely listen to what happened, explain your options without endless legal jargon, and fight tenaciously for the result you deserve.

That’s exactly what Kim Beck built Beck Law Center to do. Working out of Cincinnati, she also represents clients throughout West Virginia, helping people and families hold negligent or dishonest parties accountable.

Legal Services Beck Law Center Provides Throughout West Virginia

Product Liability / Defect

A product is supposed to be safe when used the way it’s intended. When it isn’t, and someone gets hurt, the company responsible needs to answer for it. Faulty machinery, unsafe consumer goods, and dangerous equipment can all cause injuries with lasting consequences. Kim investigates what failed, who’s on the hook, and how to pursue the compensation your recovery needs.

Design and manufacturing defect claims

Failure to warn or provide adequate instructions

Medications and treatments that turned out riskier than promised

Claims against manufacturers, distributors, and retailers

Personal Injury

An accident can leave you drowning in medical bills, missing paychecks, and unsure of what tomorrow looks like, all while you’re trying to keep your footing. Kim represents injured West Virginians and works to secure the compensation they need to rebuild.

Car, truck, and motorcycle accidents

Slip-and-fall and other premises liability claims

Injuries caused by medical negligence

Claims rooted in someone else’s carelessness

Civil Litigation

Many disputes can be resolved through negotiation, and that path is often faster and less costly. But when the other side won’t budge, you need an attorney prepared to bring your case in front of a judge and argue it there.

Representation in West Virginia state and federal court

Case strategy and pre-trial negotiation

Confident courtroom advocacy when it’s the only path forward

Appeals when the situation calls for it

Breach of Contract

An agreement only means something if both sides live up to it. When one party breaks their word, it can cost you time, money, and trust that’s hard to rebuild. Kim helps individuals and businesses across West Virginia enforce their agreements and pursue a fair resolution.

Review and enforcement of business and personal contracts

Damage claims tied to broken agreements

Resolution strategies shaped around your goals

Note: An agreement doesn’t always have to be in writing to be legally enforceable

Assault / Bullying

Being the victim of someone else’s violent or aggressive conduct can be traumatic. A criminal case may proceed on its own, but you may still have a valid civil claim and be entitled to compensation. Kim brings both compassion and resolve to these deeply personal cases.

Civil claims arising from assault or battery

Bullying at school, at work, or in the community

Guidance for families navigating sensitive, difficult situations

Note: Only cases involving physical contact are handled, with emotional harm factored into the claim

Kim Beck: An Attorney Who Fights for You

Professional woman in black blazer working on laptop at desk with legal books and Beck Law Center mug.

Kim Beck represents individuals who’ve suffered serious injuries or been shortchanged by insurance companies, with particular experience handling complex cases involving dangerous or defective pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Earlier in her career, she spent 13 years at defense firms representing pharmaceutical companies — insight she now uses to anticipate the industry’s tactics on behalf of her own clients. She also served as a legal extern to U.S. Magistrate Judge Sharon Ovington.

Kim’s legal work has been recognized by respected industry publications, including Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, Martindale-Hubbell, and Avvo, and she has taught continuing legal education (CLE) courses for fellow attorneys. In February 2025, she completed formal mediator training and now offers mediation services for civil disputes, giving clients another way to resolve conflicts outside of a courtroom.
